Which set is right for getting started?

For hobby use and occasional work, the small basic assortments 599B1 (with eyelets) and 599B (with rivets) are ideal. For businesses, studios and schools, we recommend the large basic assortments 599A or 599A1.

What is the difference between 599A and 599A1?

The all-inclusive basic assortment 599A1 additionally contains rivets and Super 3/2 ring-spring snap fasteners. The large basic assortment 599A focuses on four sizes of Star S-spring snap fasteners.

Can I reorder items?

Yes – all snap fasteners, eyelets, rivets and setting tools in the sets are also available individually.

Can I have a set customised?

Just ask us – we will be happy to put together an assortment to suit your needs.

What does the «Reorder set contents» button do?

It adds all items and tools of the respective set to the order form – without the press. This lets you refill your assortment with a single click.

Are the sets also available without a press?

Yes. The basic sets 599A1B and 599AB and the starter sets 599B1B and 599BB contain the contents of the basic assortments without a press in a neutral plastic box – for refilling or for a second workstation. They fit all screw presses, toggle presses and pneumatic presses.

Is a mounting set included?

Yes, with the large basic assortments 599A and 599A1: the press is screwed onto the wooden board and fixed to the table with two screw clamps – stable and removable at any time. The small basic assortments with the screw press Mod. 3 do not include a mounting set.

Which supplementary assortments fit my set?

Most supplementary assortments fit all screw presses, toggle presses and pneumatic presses. The cap assortments 599C and 599C1 fit exclusively with basic assortment 599A, as the caps are processed with its tools.

The set card of each assortment shows which machine or basic assortment it fits.

Are the rivets in the sets wash-resistant?

The rivets in the sets are made of iron and are not suitable for industrial laundry, frequent wash cycles, contact with water or outdoor use. For such applications we will be happy to advise you on suitable rivets from our range.

Which set is suitable for jersey and knitted fabrics?

Supplementary assortment 599E with nickel-free Elegant jersey snap fasteners is particularly suitable for knitted textiles such as jersey – tool included.
