Leather & saddlery
Bell straps, belts, bridles and car seats get rivets, eyelets and snap fasteners that hold permanently – neatly set and durable.

Whether saddlery, leather goods, tarpaulins or covers – with our eyelets, rivets and attaching machines you create connections that withstand tension, wind and weather. From one-off pieces to series production.
Two materials, two sets of requirements – we have the right eyelets, rivets and machines for both.

Bell straps, belts, bridles and car seats get rivets, eyelets and snap fasteners that hold permanently – neatly set and durable.

Tarpaulins, covers and tent walls need eyelets that don't tear out. Because the base material is rolled in, the eyelets sit firmly – even in wind and under tension.
The eyelet for tarpaulins and covers: its claws grip firmly into the fabric – no counter washer is needed.

The K eyelet has fine teeth on its shank, known as claws. During setting they grip into the base material and the fabric is rolled into the flange. This creates a very strong connection – without any washer. The K eyelet grips particularly well in tarpaulin fabrics.
In tarpaulin manufacturing, covers are fitted with brass eyelets on a continuous basis. The fully automatic attaching machine pre-punches the material itself and rolls it in during setting – so the eyelets hold even under tension.
Punching, feeding and setting in a single operation – for high volumes at consistent quality.

Self-piercing, with single feed and microprocessor control – for leather, rawhide, plastic, fabric and cardboard.

For K-eyelets – up to 100 pieces per minute, with 10'000 N setting force.

For large eyelets and washers – up to 100 pieces per minute, with 10'000 N setting force.

For simple, trouble-free processing – with pedal operation and pneumatic cylinder.

For frequent setting of eyelets, snap fasteners and rivets – robust and precise.
We will be happy to advise you and find the right solution for your saddlery or tarpaulin workshop – from one-offs to series production.
Send an enquiryThe M11 attaching machine punches the material itself and sets eyelets and washers up to 20 mm inside diameter – also available as a variant for snap fasteners – in leather, rawhide, plastic, fabric and cardboard. The NE 52-1K sets K-eyelets up to 20 mm, the NE 54E-2K eyelets and washers up to 40 mm inside diameter for large tarpaulins. For one-offs and small batches we recommend the T12 or the Mod. 4 AF hand screw press.
Not with the fully automatic machines: the M11 punches the material itself, and the NE 52-1K and NE 54E-2K pre-punch automatically. For the T12 and the hand screw press, we will be happy to advise you on the right tool set.
The NE 52-1K and NE 54E-2K attaching machines roll the base material in during setting. This gives the eyelets high tear-out resistance – essential for tarpaulins exposed to wind and tension.
Stock items are generally delivered within 1–3 working days.
For special products and custom versions, the delivery time is usually around 2–4 weeks.
K-eyelets are one-piece prong eyelets without a washer – for tarpaulins, tents, webbing and technical textiles. Find out more under Eyelets.
For bell straps, belts and bags, double-cap rivets with a clean finish on both sides are ideal. For thick leather, rivets with a long shank are available. Find out more under Rivets.

Yes. In our in-house workshop, we service and repair machines and tools, and on request also manufacture customised tools. Find out more under Tools & machines.
Yes. With the hollow punch you punch holes with a hammer – round in sizes from Ø 2 to 66 mm or oval for oval eyelets. The hammer-in tool also sets eyelet and washer with a hammer, ideal for one-off pieces, repairs and on-site use.

For this we recommend the special punching tool with ball. It consists of an upper and lower part, is suitable for webbing, plastic, hard plastic, nylon and multi-layer materials and lasts longer than the hole punch.
